Lambourn is a peaceful village and parish with relatively few serious crimes. In part this is due to the rural location and in part to the efforts of the various public and private bodies who tackle crime and antisocial behaviour.
Our local police sergeant is Caroline Harrison who is often seen in the village and its surroundings giving crime prevention advice and dealing with police matters.
You can do much to help reduce crime by taking basic crime prevention measures for yourself and your property and assisting the police by reporting suspicious activity even if a crime has not been committed.
